From Costa Rica, Not From Fashion Demand

Costa Rica operates under strict environmental and agricultural regulations. Cattle are raised for food, not fashion, and the hides are an unavoidable byproduct of that system. By law, slaughterhouses must account for animal byproducts, which creates a steady surplus of high-quality hides that would otherwise be discarded or sent to landfill. VIBE sources leather at this exact point in the supply chain.

The Journey South: Leather With a Second Life

After sourcing, the hides travel to Guatemala, where they are transformed by Mayan artisans using traditional, low-impact techniques passed down through generations.
